BAUET students completed a one-month industrial attachment course at Riseup Labs
Students of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department and Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) Department of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) have completed a one-month industrial attachment course at Riseup Labs, a reputed IT company in Bangladesh.
On this occasion, Riseup Labs organized a closing ceremony on Tuesday (June 6, 2023). Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Head of CSE Department of BAUET, Mr. Ershadul Haque, Founder and CEO of Riseup Labs, Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, Operations Manager (Sales and Marketing) of Riseup Labs, trainers and students were present.
During the month-long industrial attachment course, BAUET's CSE and ICE students had their course texts on Laravel, Routing and Controllers, Blade Templates and Views, Model and Elquent ORM, Forms and Validation, Authentication and Authorization and API Development from Riseup Labs among others. They got guidance from IT experts.
Besides, Mr. Ershadul Haque, founder and CEO of Riseup Labs also gave important instructions about their course. He appreciated their interest in information technology. In the closing ceremony, he said, 'Bangladeshi youth have been providing various IT services worldwide. So IT organizations like us should come forward in collaboration with educational institutions, so that students can learn everything quickly.'
Head of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department and Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan said, 'Industrial attachment course was a great opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge about software companies. An opportunity to learn from the experts at RiseUp Labs will be an inspiration to BAUET students. They will apply these practices in their future careers.'
Earlier on April 13, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Riseup Labs and BAUET's CSE Department for collaboration, technology transfer, internships, employment opportunities for students, and curriculum development.
